Kickstarter is the most powerful crowdfunding platform for new and professional creators and creative entrepreneurs alike. Every day, writers, artists, comic creators, and self-publishers are raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring their dream projects to life. Still, nearly two-thirds of projects that launch on Kickstarter fail to fund. But the ComixLaunch podcast is changing that by revealing the mindset, strategies, and tactics you can use to successfully crowdfund your project on the platform. Tyler James, the host, has put all these ideas to practice and raised multiple six-figures in funding on Kickstarter across many successful projects. He is a writer, artist, game designer and the publisher of ComixTribe. He has also been a frequent guest on the #1 crowdfunding podcast Funding the Dream with Richard Bliss. ComixLaunch covers pre-launch strategies (social media, list-building, Facebook, Twitter), crowdfunding platforms (Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Patreon and more), how to design a successful campaign from start to finish, including how to set an achievable goal / funding target, campaign marketing, avoiding the pitfalls of fulfillment, and much more. The objective? To help YOU take your career to the next level by turning the Kickstarter platform into a renewable resource that will bring your creative projects to life again and again. Are you ready to launch?

A great resource!
I am working on developing a game. I rather naively decided to crowdfund the project. This podcast really has helped me appreciate both the value and complexity of this approach. As a newbie to product development and marketing, I have used the lessons in it to make important course corrections. Highly recommend!
Thank You For The Great Advice
I found ComixLaunch as I was researching how to go about running and setting up my 1st crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for my comic, Dragon Child. Leading up to my launch, which is now on its second day with my first six backers, I have been listening to the Podcast and reading the free PDF from your website to inform where I am now. Fingers crossed that my Kickstarter gets funded, and thank you for what you do for the comics community.
Wow
I just started listening to this and I am so thankful it exists. Tyler, thank you for providing so much information on Kickstarter and how it applies to comic production. I’ve never seen this information anywhere else. 👍
