Today’s Featured Guests:

James Burton is a survivor, living through Stage 4 cancer and realized being a creator at any level was the key for not only his mental/Physical recovery, but opened his eyes on how to invest in himself. Since then he has 5 successful KS as well as contributed to multiple Large crowd funded Anthologies, and all while maintaining his roll as a father, a husband and his demanding day-job. With a lot left to learn the more he actualizes the Lessons from Comixlaunch the more successful his campaigns are.

Jarrod Burris grew up in Western Pennsylvania, fueled by a passion for action films and comic books, especially the high-energy style of the Rob Liefeld era. His comic book series Collision Force channels the raw energy of ’80s action cinema. Jarrod’s love for intense, larger-than-life storytelling has defined his career. After earning a BA in Writing and Film Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, Jarrod relocated to Los Angeles, becoming a vital link between the LA and Pittsburgh genre film scenes. His debut horror feature, Pig Hill, his first produced screenplay, is generating massive buzz at Cannes 2025 for its audacious and inventive vision. With a horror project and a gritty neo-noir in pre-production, Jarrod’s knack for hard-hitting, visceral stories continues to electrify the industry. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Jessica Luhrssen, also a brilliant screenwriter and Jarrod’s creative muse.

Joseph Kazmer is a a lifelong comic fan and writer. Joe reached out to longtime friend and screenwriter, Jarrod Burris, during the pandemic with the idea of creating a comic book. Jarrod and Joe reached back to their days at the University of Pittsburgh for Collision Force, refined it, and are now unleashing it to the world with an awesome artistic team. Joe lives in North Texas with his wife and son.
